Ricardo Lomba had the support of Luiz Eduardo Baptista
A clean and peaceful dispute. This is how the vote for president of the Flamengo Deliberative Council, held this Monday (16), in Gávea, can be summarized. The club’s members elected Ricardo Lomba, with 943 votes, against 171 for Álvaro Ferreira. In the first speech after the election, there was no shortage of words for Luiz Eduardo Baptista, elected red-black president.

– I know the responsibility of taking on such important advice. I would like to thank Bap who supported me from the beginning, there were several support groups, and this is very important, because we managed to unite groups from all segments of Flamengo – began Lomba.
— This creates a good political environment for us to have a lighter, more plural and more participatory Deliberative Council. I count on the support of all counselors. I thank (Marcos) Mangin (campaign coordinator), who led this environment – he declared.
SUPPORT ONLY ON ONE SIDE
Of the three who ran for president of Flamengo last week, Lomba had the support of elected Luiz Eduardo Baptista and third-placed Maurício Gomes de Mattos. Landim, who was alongside Rodrigo Dunshee, did not declare support for anyone, despite being from the same political group as Álvaro Ferreira, who was defeated in the Deliberative Council dispute.
