Lucknow Court Summons Rahul Gandhi: A Lucknow court has summoned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in connection with his controversial remarks and inflammatory speech on Veer Savarkar. Rahul Gandhi has been asked to appear in the court on 10 January 2025. During this, Rahul Gandhi will present his side. The court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate III of Lucknow on Thursday heard the complaint filed in connection with the alleged inflammatory statement and controversial remarks on Veer Savarkar.
The court has prima facie found Rahul Gandhi guilty of crimes under sections 153(A) and 505 of the Indian Penal Code. Now the next hearing of this case will be on the scheduled date.

The court has issued a notice on a complaint filed by advocate Nripendra Pandey. It has been claimed in the complaint that Rahul Gandhi had called nationalist Vinayak Damodar Savarkar a servant of the British with the intention of spreading hatred in the society. It was also said that he used to take pension from the British.
