A bronze obtained thanks to the performances of Alessio Di Clemente (-66kg), Giulio Manenti (-73kg), Gherardo Lippi (-73kg), Lorenzo Tosi (-81kg), Davide Parri (-81kg) and Francesco Tosi (-90kg), as well as Davide Graziosi (+90kg) and Mattia Zollesi (-66kg), on loan from Harmony Club and Cus Parma respectively. Coach Alessandro Di Clemente will lead the Empoli expedition. A historic result that closes a sporting season already full of individual satisfactions for Giulio Manenti, silver in the A2 Italian Cup, and Gherardo Lippi, bronze in the A2 Italian Junior Championships.
