Pierrick Jean et Romain Planchon become the new managers of the Orts company in Millau, without interruption of activity, they took up their duties at the beginning of December. For Pierrick Jean, the circle has come full circle, it’s a bit of a return to basics: “ More than 25 years ago, I started my career with Florent Bourgin and Philippe Joseph, managers of ORTS Ambulances in Millau ».
“We shared good times together and above all we have kept in touch for all these years. I discovered this job with them, it requires showing kindness, availability and knowledge of helping people. I was able to acquire these skills throughout the five years spent alongside them”remembers the business manager.
In 2004, however, he left Millau to set up his own business and took over the Lafon ambulances in La Canourgue, which later became Loz’air ambulances. Eight years later with his accomplice Romain Planchonthey created Séverac Ambulances in Sévérac-d’Aveyron. For years, they have focused on growing their businesses and scaling them. They will even become the first company to create the first specialized bariatric transport units for the departments of Aveyron and Lozère. so that obese patients can access care like all patients », Explain the managers.
But Pierrick Jean says that despite everything, Millau remains “ his heart city ». « I met beautiful people there, it’s a city in which I have kept many friends that I always enjoy meeting “, says the business manager, so when a few months ago, Florent and Philippe asked him to take over from them, he did not hesitate for long and took his partner on board this new adventure.
Alongside them in Millau, around twenty employees, four ambulances and nine VSLs for all your medical transport in Millau, Montpellier, Rodez… and throughout France. “ With Romain, we will continue the story which is already more than 50 years old, with the entire current and future team. We met the ambulance men and women on duty, they are beautiful people, caring and willing. We will go far together », the two new managers have no doubt.
