For the first time, Sportvg Feuerbach and its youth were able to compete in the mini team round in the North Württemberg district in the U19 age group. There were 4 teams registered in the U19 age group. There will be a first half of the season and a second half of the season, where the teams have to compete against all other teams in the class. This means there are 3 matches per match day. An encounter consists of 4 games each: JE, ME, JD and MX. The first match day took place on December 7th, 2024 in the Stromberghalle in Illingen. The team from Feuerbach consisted of Bandish Bankar, Aykut Cayman and Desislav Nedkov.
The first encounter was against the strong team from TV Echterdingen.
In the ME, Bandish was able to put an exclamation mark straight away and very confidently got the first point for Feuerbach. In the JD, however, Aykut and Desislav had to admit defeat after a good performance. The team also had to admit defeat in the subsequent MX and HE. The first encounter went to Echterdingen 3-1.
In the second encounter, the Feuerbach team met VfL Kirchheim.
In the JD, Desislav and Aykut were able to assert themselves very strongly against their opponents at the beginning. Aykut had no chance in the HE. Even in the ME, Bandish couldn’t do anything against her opponent and had to give up the game. In the subsequent MX, the team from Feuerbach was also defeated. The match was lost 3-1.
At the end of the first half of the season it was against the Hengstfeld-Wallhausen team, which was also still without a win. Here the team from Feuerbach was finally able to make better use of its strengths. Bandish was able to win the ME very strongly. In the HD, Aykut and Desislav were able to prevail after initial problems. Aykut was also able to win the JE in two sets. At the end, Bandish and Desislav were also able to clearly win the MX, so that in the end Feuerbach was able to win the encounter 4-0.
After the first half of the season, the team from Feuerbach is in a good third place.
The second matchday and the second half of the season will take place on February 2nd, 2024 in Esslingen.
