chicago bears Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams hasn’t had the easiest transition to NFL life. Off the field, he had to deal with the firing of his offensive coordinator and head coach. On the field, he has the run of his life, unlike many quarterbacks before him. Williams has now been sacked 58 times in 14 games, after being sacked twice on ‘Monday Night Football.’ Monday’s game was the ninth straight contest in which the first overall draft pick had multiple sacks, but it was still the fewest allowed by Chicago since Week 5.
