NBA: A star is coming with Wembanyama?

After his departure from the Golden State Warriors, Chris Paul signed for a season with the San Antonio Spurs last summer. At 39, the leader is starting to think about when he will stop his career and what he will do next, and why not become a coach. But for now, he sees himself playing for another year or two, and therefore potentially still with Victor Wembanyama.

This week, the San Antonio Spurs published an interview between the former star point guard of the franchise, Tony Parkerand the current one, Chris Paul. The opportunity for the latter to reconsider his choice to join the Spurs last summer after his departure from Golden State Warriorswhile his wife and children still live in Los Angeles.

“If I have to sacrifice my family and be away from them, I have to at least play”

Asked by Tony Parker on the rest of his career and what he plans to do next, the 39-year-old leader has not closed the door to a future as a coach, but could still continue playing for a few years.

Chris Paul thinks he’ll play “another year or two”

« Maybe another year or two, I’m still thinking about it. I love going to practice, I love playing, I love all that. The hardest part is when I have to come home and I have to watch my kids’ games on my IPad or something. That’s what’s making me hesitate at the moment. », added Chris Paul. It remains to be seen whether this will always be with Victor Wembanyama to Spurswith whom he signed a one-year contract last summer.
