Convincing double doubles for Clint Capela (11 points and 13 rebounds) e Mr. Okongwu (12 and 11 rebounds).
During the final moments of the match, with the game already on ice, Trae Young mimed the gesture of play dice on the Knicks logoinfuriating the entire audience at Madison Square Garden and reviving the disagreements that began during the 2021 Playoffs. The native of Lubbock, Texas then commented on his relationship with the fans of the Big Apple team in this way:
“We have a love-hate relationship. I love them very much, but they hate me, I think this can also be defined as mutual. Every match is a great opportunity, we knew that the stakes would be of a high level.”
To reach the Final Four, the entire quintet in double figures is not enough for the Knicks, in which the 21 points (with 8 rebounds and 6 assists) of Josh Hart and 19 each Karl-Anthony Towns (which adds 19 rebounds) e Mikal Bridges.
