The Reign of Terror of Kyle Kuzma to Washington Wizards it could end soon, luckily for both the former Lakers player and his current team.
The Wizards season has already failedwith a month of November in which the team coached by Brian Keefe has missed all the games play, 13 in line, and in which he has not won since last October 31st. A mediocrity that goes unnoticed only because Washington has accustomed us to mediocrity and nothing else is expected from them. If nothing else, interesting players have arrived from the draft over the years, all to be developed but interesting. Alex Sarr, Bilal Coulibaly, Bub Carrington, Kyshawn Georgeand the eldest Corey Kispert who renewed his contract in the summer.
The rest, Jordan Poole included, is to be downloaded and offered to the highest bidder. Poole, Jonas Valanciunas, Malcom Brogdon, Marvin Bagley III, Johnny Davis (!) e Richaun Holmes are all to be considered on the marketHowever, the most sought-after piece, together with the veteran Valanciunas, will be Kyle Kuzma that at least half a dozen teams like.
After the December 15ththe date on which part of the players who signed a new contract in the summer will once again become transferable via trade, the NBA market will restart its rotation. Kuzma is on the notepad of several playoff teams, and with Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks e Golden State Warriors interested. Kyle Kuzma’s contract expires in 2027 and Kuz will become eligible for an extension from the 2025 offseason but his current contract does not include player optionsand it is descending of value. Enough to attract some automatic interest.
Kuzma isn’t playing very well but he’s coming off two solid seasons albeit in a losing context for the Wizards, and in another life he was an NBA champion with the Lakers. Among the teams with the most arguments there would be i Miami Heatwhich they could put on the market Terry Rozierwhose addition didn’t work, or the usual Duncan Robinsonfor Kuzma the Wizards will ask for at least a future first pick in the draft.
