Down 17-0, the Saints dug into their bag of surprises and pulled out a trick play.
Quarterback Spencer Rattler threw a reverse pass to wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr., who set up the pass.
He spotted Kamara racing toward the end zone and lofted the ball in his direction.
Kamara looked up, saw the ball coming his way, stayed inbounds, and hauled in the pass with one hand.
NFL fans went wild after that catch and praised Kamara’s incredible athleticism.

Kamara’s catch sparked an ill-fated comeback from the Saints, who came up short.
‘The Saints’ only hope of getting Imao is Alvin Kamara,’ wrote one user on X, formerly Twitter.
Another wrote, ‘Remember that offseason when several spreadsheet nerds tried to say Kamara was washed up?’
Another NFL fan said, ‘Imagine if he got a chance on a winning team…’ This wasted talent fucked the Saints and fucked Derek Carr.’
That touchdown sparked an inspiring comeback attempt by the Saints, who rallied back from a 17-point deficit.
On the final play of the game, Rattler completed a pass to tight end Foster Moreau for a touchdown to make the game 20-19.
When faced with the option of kicking the extra point for a tie or converting two points for the win, the Saints chose the latter option.
Unfortunately, Rattler’s pass attempt was thwarted and Washington went on to win.
