The Philadelphia Eagles remain on the road to success and record their eighth win in a row in the NFL’s top game against the Baltimore Ravens. Buffalo, on the other hand, has already secured its playoff ticket.

The Buffalo Bills secured their early entry into the playoffs with their tenth win of the season. Quarterback Josh Allen stood out in the snow against the San Francisco 49ers and scored three touchdowns in a clear 35:10 – the 28-year-old MVP candidate threw one touchdown, he ran one and caught one himself in a creative trick play. According to the NFL, no other quarterback had ever achieved this feat before.
What was particularly noteworthy was the third touchdown, which was officially recorded as a receiving touchdown: Allen threw a short pass in the red zone to wide receiver Amari Cooper, who was already surrounded by several defenders and then, with the presence of mind, threw the ball back to Allen, who then ran and jumped into the end zone. Thanks to their once again dominant performance, the Bills are increasingly becoming the top favorites in the AFC. Just two weeks ago, the Bills inflicted their only defeat of the season on Super Bowl champions Kansas City.
The 49ers, on the other hand, had a completely wasted day: San Fran allowed three fumbles in the snow that got deeper and deeper throughout the game, all of which Buffalo secured. In addition, kicker Jake Moody missed two field goals in difficult conditions. Probably the most bitter thing: Running back Christian McCaffrey, who had just returned after a long break, injured his knee early in the second quarter without the influence of an opponent and was unable to finish the game.
According to head coach Kyle Shanahan, McCaffrey has injured his posterior cruciate ligament and could miss the rest of the season.
The Niners, who were narrowly defeated by the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl last year, are now in last place in the NFC West with a record of five wins and seven defeats and have to worry more than ever about participating in the playoffs.
Eagles series also holds against Baltimore
Saquon Barkley led the Philadelphia Eagles to their eighth win in a row in the NFL. In the 24:19 win in the big game at the Baltimore Ravens, the strong running back ran for 107 yards and put the Eagles on the road to victory with a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Philadelphia maintained its lead in the NFC East and is fully on course for the playoffs.
Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, the league’s MVP in the preseason, threw for 237 yards and two touchdowns, but could not prevent the Super Bowl contender from losing at home. After a narrow deficit in the fourth quarter, his team had two chances to take the lead – but kicker Justin Tucker, who has often been unsure this season, lost his nerve and missed two field goals.
