Athlete Trent Williams has to cope with another stroke of fate. His wife suffered a stillbirth at 35 weeks.

Trent Williams is going through tough times. The NFL star and his wife were expecting twins. However, as Sondra Williams announced in an Instagram post, she had a stillbirth at 35 weeks after losing her first twin earlier in the pregnancy.

In her post, she shows recordings of the heartbeat and sonograms of her now stillborn son, the second twin, whom she and her husband named Trenton O’Brien Williams Jr. He is her “eternal angel”. You can play the video by clicking in the middle of the following post.

In the emotional post, Sondra Williams says, “It was incredibly difficult to process the saddest hello and goodbye I’ve ever had to endure.” The stillbirth took place on November 24th. She further explained that Trenton had been diagnosed with Trisomy 13, a rare genetic disorder.

She and Trent Williams now seek solace in faith. Sondra Williams writes, “My firstborn and only son, I have always wanted you, but God wanted and needed you more.” Despite the deep pain, she is grateful for the time she had with her child. “Even though I will never hear your soft sounds and cries or never see your beautiful little eyes looking up at me, I am grateful to God for the time I was able to share with you.”
