Nine Daspo for Gubbio fans after the events of September 15th
Nine Daspo – The Perugia Police Headquarters issued nine Daspo towards fans of Gubbioinvolved in episodes of violence during last year’s away match September 15th at the stadium Renato Curi. The events occurred in the car park reserved for visiting fans, where a group of Gubbio supporters tried to get in touch with the local fans, clashing heatedly with the police in charge of the checks.

The nine recipients of Daspo were held responsible for serious conduct, with a significant risk to public order and safety. Eight of them will not be able to access football sporting events, including championship matches, Italian Cup and international cups, for a period of a year. For another fan, given the seriousness of the actions and criminal record, the ban will be extended to three years.
Reasons for the measures
The Police Headquarters underlined how the conduct of the fans involved represented a concrete risk to safety, thus justifying the measures. The Daspo aim to prevent further incidents of violence and ensure a safe environment during sporting events.
