Not just football for the SSD Scicli Bruffalori: initiatives during the Christmas holidays, for children and the needy

Not just football for SSD Scicli Bruffalori. The sports club, among the first at provincial level in terms of number of members, over 400, involved in all categories, from the children’s project to the 1st team, to women’s football, will also this year, during the Christmas period, address the more needy.

As in previous years, shopping parcels will be distributed to around 50 families; there will be shopping vouchers for the purchase of basic necessities, distributed to churches, families, voluntary associations, nurseries.

These are the company’s Christmas events:

Today, December 18th, Santa Claus with his cart (in Scicli it is easier to find a cart than a sled) will visit the children of the Don Milani primary school, in the Jungi district. At 6pm starting from Piazza Carmine, a walk was organized through the streets of Scicli, the proceeds of which will be donated to charity.

On December 20th the club reserved the screening of a Christmas film at the Cinema Italia for all the children of the football school.

On December 23rd at the Geodetico, on the occasion of the 3rd “Christmas truce” trophy, the boys of SSD Scicli will compete in a football-basketball match against those of Meerkat. This event will also have charitable purposes.

“In our code of ethics – states manager Antonio Iacolino – we have committed to reserving a portion of advertising revenues for educational, recreational and solidarity purposes”.

“Our social role – continues Adriano Arrabito – is to instill educational principles and values in children who tomorrow will be called to be representatives of our community”.

President Giannone takes advantage of this space to wish all citizens a peaceful Christmas.
