The Palestinian Football Association said the number of footballers killed in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 353, including 91 children and 262 youth, since the start of Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.
The association, in a statement, said that 546 people belonging to the Palestinian sports and scout movements have been killed since the start of the war.
He highlighted that 108 members of the Olympic sports federations were killed, as well as 85 members of the Palestinian scout movement, explaining that two brothers, Muhammad and Mahmoud Khalifa, were martyred on Monday in the bombing of their home in al-Nuseirat by the occupation .
He pointed out that Muhammad was a player of Hilal Gaza Club, and also competed in the national youth team, while his brother Mahmoud was of Ahli Nuseirat Club.
