Pablo Milad sets a date to separate ANFP from the Football Federation: he responded to criticism from senators | Soccer

Pablo Miladpresident of the ANFP, responded to criticism against him for putting a stop to the project that seeks to separate the Chilean Football Federation from the governing body of national football.

The reform that is advancing in the Senate was rejected by Milad, who assured that if it is not modified it could mean international sanctions.

The above raised questions about Matias Walkervice president of the Senate and leader of the project: “Every time we make regulatory changes to improve the activity of professional sports, some president of the ANFP threatens us with disaffiliation from FIFA”

The president of the ANFP did not like the parliamentarian’s words and, after the victory of La Roja Sub 20 in Spain, he reproached Walker and questioned that in the Senate they will reject implementing the National Fan Registry as a requirement to attend stadiums.

“It is paradoxical that they reject something that is proven, that has improved the public’s experience in stadiums. The historical record of attendees was broken, because people go much calmer to the stadiums today, knowing that there is a Fan Registry and that, in addition, there is no cost to the State,” Milad remarked.

“They are slamming the door on all the work carried out together with the Ministry of the Interior. “I believe that these senators do not have all the information on the table,” added the Chilean soccer boss.

Pablo Milad: “I don’t know who they are defending”

Then, the president of the ANFP insisted that “we are working to remove criminals and the Fan Registry is essential for that. “I don’t know who they are protecting, whether the people who are going to see their clubs or those who are going to cause mischief.”.

Finally, regarding the slowness in the separation of the ANFP and the Federation and the sanctions that Chilean football would risk, Pablo Milad indicated that “FIFA does not like things to be done out of obligation, much less out of laws.”

“We have made progress and we are willing to work together with FIFA. We have done it at conferences, we have met with specialists and we are going to include all those who participate directly or indirectly in this activity. At the end of my term, we would have almost completed the separation.”Milad concluded.
