This weekend, Pico FBC will host the second phase of the South quadrangular of the Argentine Basketball League, after having been chosen by the Club Association through a bidding process.
In this stage, the Dean will integrate Group A together with Racing de Chivilcoy, leader of Group 1 in the first stage; Quilmes from Mar del Plata, first in Group 4; and Villa Miter from Bahía Blanca, second in Group 2.
The Dean’s path to this point
The Pampas team reaches this challenge after an outstanding performance in the first stage, where it placed second in Group 3 during the quadrangular held in Colón, Entre Ríos.
The winners of each group will advance to the Final Quadrangular, where the two best teams of this quadrangular in Pico will face the two best from Group B, which includes Deportivo Viedma, La Unión de Colón, Ciclista Juninense and El Talar.
Home run schedule in Pico
- Friday: Quilmes will open the day facing Villa Mitre, while in the second round the local team will face Racing de Chivilcoy.
- Saturday: The winners of the first day will face the losers, always keeping the Dean as the protagonist of the second round.
- Domingo: The teams that have lost and won on the opening day will meet to define positions.
