This weekend the Balearic Indoor Recurve and Compound Bow Championships 2024 – 2025 were held in Maó where athletes from the Pitiusas Islands won 30 medals.
Regarding these outstanding results, starting with the recurve modality, in the men’s under-15 category, Pau Altadill (S’arc d’Eivissa) won gold. The silver went to Víctor López from Formentera; and the bronze for Mateu Ribas (Es Cubells). In women, Ibizan triplet. Gold for Emma Moya (S’arc d’Eivissa), silver for María Valente (es Cubells) and bronze went to Aina Sangonzalo (S’arc d’Eivissa).
In sub 18, gold went to Aitor Ramiro (Es Cubells), silver went to Ahmed El Bouzrati (Formentera) and bronze to Tashi Samper (S’arc d’Eivissa). In women, silver for Nadie Roig (S’arc d’Eivissa) and bronze for Ainhoa Retamal (Es Cubells).
In the under-21 category, in the men’s category, Biel Torres (Es Cubells) achieved bronze, something that Alba Torres (S’arc d’Eivissa) also did, in the women’s category.
In mixed seniors, S’arc d’Eivissa archers Pere Cincunegui and Daniel Martínez won gold and silver. In more than 50 years, silver for Nieves Montero (S’arc d’Eivissa) and bronze for Pilar Záforas (Es Cubells).
In mixed under-21 compound silver for Cristina Planells (Es Cubells) and bronze for Alessandro Spanish (Formentera).
In seniors, Miguel Ángel Escandell (Es Cubells) took silver, while his clubmates Magali Foulón and Cristina Maneiro won gold and silver.
As for the absolute titles, determined by qualifying rounds where they face each other. Ibiza took the golds from Aitor Ramiro Poley, Magali Foulon, Miguel Ángel Escandell.
