Pouzauges Grand Prix and Interclubs – Pass’Yon Judo

Last Saturday and Sunday took place in Pouzauges a Grand Prix for young juniors and cadets as well as a Pré-poussins, Poussins and Benjamins Interclubs.

During the Grand Prix among cadets the club presented 10 well-motivated fighters. Théo Tricoire, Tanael Glain, Stevan Garon and Soizic Richard unfortunately did not make it out of the group and finished unclassified. Thomas Ratier, Adan Guignard and Lénaelle Collas ranked 7th, Liam Léger and Lucile Chevillon climbed onto the podium respectively in -46kg and -44kg and finished third, Noé Girardeau was 2nd in the -81kg category. Very nice things, a real evolution both in attitude and in putting into practice the work accomplished in recent weeks, well done to everyone!!!

Among the juniors, only 6 fighters took up the challenge. Lou Douget and Tristan Clair finish unclassified, Ange Douget 7th. Jade Ferré 3rd in -44kg, the same for Inès Plamont in -36kg (a great performance for this young girl who only started judo last year, especially since she is almost 10kg lighter than the opponents on the scale of its category!). Shanys Stefani 1st in -40kg. Congratulations to everyone, especially to Shanys who literally revealed herself in her last two fights! As with the cadets, it is undeniable that the work is starting to pay off!!!

Very good results and above all a great attitude from our 27 youngest children, chicks and pre-chicks on Sunday during the Pouzauges interclub.

This allows Pass’Yon Judo to take 7th place in the quality/number of clubs ranking. A big congratulations to everyone!!! (the results of each will be published later on the blog when this article is updated)

Next meeting for the pre-chicks, the chicks, the youngest and the youngest at the Commequiers interclub on January 12. For the cadets this will be during the departmental championship at Vendespace on January 19. A big thank you to Léo for Saturday’s coaching and to Romain for Sunday’s! Thank you to the Pouzauges club for its welcome during these two long days.
