Patrice Evra recently revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo had considered joining Paris Saint-Germain in 2018, before signing for Juventus.
Asked about RMCEvra confided that the Parisian project had caught Ronaldo’s attention when he left Real Madrid: “There was Paris, Arsenal, Chelsea… but he was interested in PSG and their ambition.” However, Ronaldo ultimately opted for Juventus, signing a €117 million transfer.

For Evra, the Portuguese would have been a valuable asset for PSG: “Cristiano knows how to adapt. Look what he’s doing in Saudi Arabia.” A decision which could have changed the destiny of the Parisian club, then in search of prestige on the European scene.
