Oaxtepec.- Quintana Roo judo continues to achieve important results, this after the Quintana Roo delegation, made up of 25 athletes, won a total of 20 medals, during their participation in the National Tournament “Gala de Judo Mexicano 2024”, held at the Poliforum del Club Dorados in Oaxtepec, Morelos.
As stated in the New Agreement for Well-being and Development, promoted by Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa, #ANivelDeFit is being worked on so that the athletes of the entity can gain experience by participating in different competitions, which is why part of this selection made the trip , with the support of the Quintana Roo Sports Commission (CODEQ), chaired by Jacobo Arzate Hop.
It should be noted that the Quintana Roo team participated with 25 exponents, who in the end with their great performance closed the contest, winning a total of 8 gold medals, 5 more silver and 7 bronze, for a total of 20 metals.
Regarding the results of the competition, in what was the Under-13 category, three gold medals were achieved through Thayli Molina, Maximiliano Vázquez and César Santa María, in the -47, -28, and -42 divisions. kilos, respectively; In addition, Christopher Vázquez in the -31 kilos was awarded a silver metal.

In more results, within the U-21, Emiliano Escalante achieved gold in the 81 kilos; For its part, Alfa Figueroa won silver in the 70 kilos; Naomi Dubay and Darinel Escamilla also contributed, each achieving a bronze medal in the 52 and 81 kilos, respectively.
Finally, in the Senior category, Naomi Pozo stood out in the 63 kilos, achieving a silver metal; while Ariadna Chávez at 70 kilos and Emiliano Escalante at 81, won a bronze each.
