ALGIERS- Leader Mahdi Rabhi was elected president of the Société Sportive Par Actions du CR Belouizdad (SSPA/CRB), during the meeting of the club’s Board of Directors, held this Saturday, at the head office of Chabab, located in Saïd Hamdine, on the heights of the capital.
“The election of Rabhi was by simple majority,” detailed the CRB Management in a brief press release, published on its official website.
Two days earlier, during the Extraordinary General Assembly of the club, which was held on Thursday, November 28 at the headquarters of Madar Holding, Chabab proceeded to the appointment of the new administrators of the SSPA/CRB.
They are Mamar Djebbour, Rachid Oukali, Rachid Bahloul, Mahdi Rabhi, Mohamed Bouhafs and Boualem Boukerroucha. The latter being a de facto member, because he represents the CSA/CRB.
Rabhi (51 years old) had chaired the previous Board of Directors of Chabab, replacing Mohamed Benlhadj, who was dismissed from his position following the Extraordinary General Assembly of February 6, 2023.
Rabhi has the distinction of having collaborated with practically all the presidents who have succeeded one another at the head of Chabab since the Mohamed Lefkir era, in the early 2000s.
