The first edition of Fifa’s new intercontinental club team tournament was decided on Wednesday evening.

Real Madrid won the final against Mexican CF Pachuca after a dream goal by Rodrygo.

Rodrygo showed his class in the 53rd minute when he made a couple of turns outside the attacking penalty area and then placed the ball into a slot that Pachuca goalkeeper Carlos Moreno couldn’t reach.

The first goal at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar was scored by Kylian Mbappé, when Vinicius Junior was generous and passed instead of shooting himself. Then Vinicius made it 3–0 on a penalty in the final minutes.
