The Kansai Rugby Football association is thrilled to announce the 2nd Kansai ‌Mini Women’s‍ Rugby Exchange Tournament, a fantastic possibility for⁣ elementary school girls to showcase their skills, ‌build camaraderie, and experience the ​thrill ⁤of competition.

This tournament, scheduled‍ for Sunday, February 9, 2025, aims to foster the healthy development of young girls while ⁤promoting‌ the ‌growth and popularity of rugby in the Kansai region. Who Can Participate?

This exciting event‍ is open to all 5th and 6th-grade elementary school girls registered with the Japan Rugby football Union⁢ (public interest incorporated foundation) through a Kansai Rugby Football ‌Association affiliated rugby school.

Tournament ‌Essentials

Date: Sunday, February 9, 2025
Venue: Kameoka City Sports Park ⁤Stadium

Key Requirements:

Each participating team must‌ have at least one leader (representative) and be accompanied by a guardian ​who consents to their participation.
All players​ must ​be registered with the Japan Rugby ⁤Football Union and have sports safety insurance.
Goggles certified by World Rugby⁤ are mandatory, with sports goggles requiring prior approval from the organizers.
Each team must have at least one tournament management staff member (referee, touch judge, safety assistant).

Rules and Regulations:

The tournament will adhere to⁢ the ‌2024 revised version of the Mini Rugby competition rules established⁤ by the Japan Rugby ‍Football‌ association for upper grades,incorporating global test implementation rules.⁢ Team divisions and match combinations will be determined by the tournament headquarters.

Application Process:

Interested ​teams ‌are invited to apply by completing the‍ official application form.‍ The deadline for applications ‌is⁤ Sunday, January⁢ 19, 2025.
