Holder of the Brazilian team at the 2022 World Cup, striker Richarlison is not having the best of days at Tottenham, England, and has attracted interest from clubs such as Flamengo and Fluminense. However, it is unlikely that a return to the country will happen at the moment, as the player himself indicated this Wednesday (12/18).

Journalist Thiago Asmar, known as Pilhado, posted a video on social media saying that he called Richarlison, who revealed that he had received a proposal from the Rio duobut which have already been denied.

“I just spoke to Richarlison, I called him. He said everything about this situation about Flamengo and Fluminense. Making it very clear: Flamengo and Fluminense made proposals to Richarlison and he did not refuse either one. Richarlison took the proposals to Tottenham’s president and coach, who denied the negotiation. According to Richarlison, there is no chance of him coming to Brazilian football now. Tottenham is counting on him, and the values ​​offered are not even close to having a conversation”, said Pilhado.

The information was corroborated by the attacker himself, who left a comment on the journalist’s post on Instagram. “I think they’ll stop with the fake news now!”, said Richarlison in relation to the news that he was making an agreement with one of the rivals of the Fla-Flu duo.

Revealed by América, Richarlison gained national recognition with the Fluminense shirt, starting in 2016. In 2017, he was sold to Watford, from England.

In the United Kingdom, he had a good spell at Everton, between 2018 and 2022, before being hired by Tottenham, the club he still defends today.

In the current season, Richarlison only participated in seven of the 24 games played by Spurs, contributing with one goal and one assist. The player has been dealing with injuries in 2024 – the most serious, suffered at the beginning of November, ruled him out of action for an indefinite period, according to the English club’s coach.
