Sanliurfa metropolitan municipality Basketball The team continues its preparations for the U18 league without slowing down. The team trains at least 3 days a week and focuses on the local league matches that will start this month, aiming for the regional championship. Under the leadership of Coach Mehmet Galip Aksu, Şanlıurfa’s young athletes are becoming more assertive by being trained at a professional level.
Training is Tight, Goal is High
With the support of Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Services Department, young athletes are provided with both healthy life and professional sports training. The team, which will compete in the U18 league, is working hard to be promoted to the regional league. With training held 3 days a week, the team aims to eliminate its shortcomings and prepare for the league in the best possible way.

Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Basketball Team Coach Mehmet Galip Aksu emphasized that the team is taking firm steps towards its goals. Aksu said, ”Our U18 team is preparing for the local league that will start in December. We expect families to support their children and watch our matches. They will see how talented our young people are. “We would like to thank our Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mehmet Kasım Gürpınar for providing these opportunities,” he said.
We Want to Play for the Top
Team captain Enes Divitçi stated that they are in great harmony with the team he has been captaining for 5 years. Divitçi said, ”Our performance has reached an excellent level, we have reached a very good level with the training of our teacher. “We aim to beat all teams in December and advance to the championship by playing in the regional matches,” he said.
