Our Fenerbahçe Beko Men’s Basketball Team was the guest of Saski Baskonia in the 13th week match of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague 2024-25 season. Our team lost the match 88-76. With this result, our team remained with nine victories, while the Spanish team achieved its sixth victory.
One of our Vice Presidents, Hamdi Akın, also followed the match.
Fenerbahçe Beko, which started the match with Khem Birch, Nigel Hayes-Davis, Marko Guduric, Bonzie Colson and Wade Baldwin, could not prevent Saski Baskonia’s fast attacks and went to the television timeout trailing 18-12. Saski Baskonia continued its good game after the break and finished the first quarter ahead 26-12. Although Fenerbahçe Beko started the game well with the points of Nigel Hayes-Davis and Arturs Zagars in the first parts of the second quarter, they could not reflect the game they wanted on the field against the aggressive defense of Saski Baskonia in the remaining parts of the period and went to the locker room trailing 45-25. Even though the third quarter was the scene of mutual shooting, Saski Baskonia maintained its scoring advantage and entered the last quarter ahead 63-47. Continuing its controlled play in the fourth quarter, the home team left the field victorious 88-76.
