Schröder loses with Nets – Lakers receive NBA slap

The Brooklyn Nets are slipping down the table after their third defeat in a row. However, a superstar and his team suffered the more obvious defeat.

Chicago – National basketball player Dennis Schröder lost again with the Brooklyn Nets. In the end, the team from New York clearly lost to the Chicago Bulls 102:128 and suffered their third defeat in a row. The Nets slipped out of the playoff ranks in the Eastern Conference. Schröder recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 assists, but missed all six shots from long range and couldn’t prevent the Bulls from steadily increasing their lead in the second half. Both teams now have 9 wins from 22 games.

World champion colleague Daniel Theis also suffered a defeat with his team – for the New Orleans Pelicans, the 112:123 defeat against the Atlanta Hawks was the ninth defeat in a row. In the NBA, only the Washington Wizards are worse this season. Theis played 13 minutes and recorded three points and four rebounds during this time.

29-point swat for Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers around superstar LeBron James suffered the clearest defeat of the day. The guests conceded 80:109 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Neither James nor Anthony Davis showed a convincing performance. James only scored ten points, Davis scored 12. James missed all four three-point attempts and has now been waiting for a basket from behind the three-point line for 19 attempts. The team of new coach JJ Reddick is in eighth place in the Western Conference after their ninth defeat in the 21st game of the season. dpa
