Next Thursday, December 12, the Andrés Estrada Sports Center in Huelva will be the scene of the seventh edition of the solidarity tournament “A toy for badminton”. This event, organized by the Recreativo IES La Orden, seeks to combine the passion for badminton with a gesture of solidarity during these Christmas periods.
The tournament is open to all audiences, allowing participation in pairs made up of family, friends or classmates. Even those who do not have a partner will be able to find one in the same place. Registration does not require a monetary payment, but rather the donation of a toy in good condition or a kilo of food, which will be donated to charitable causes. Participants will receive medals and t-shirts with an exclusive design, courtesy of the organizing club.
Recreativo IES La Orden, known for its multiple league titles and the individual successes of its players, continues to promote badminton in Huelva not only through competition, but also through inclusive and solidarity events. This initiative is an opportunity for the people of Huelva to get closer to a sport that has carried the name of Huelva worldwide, enjoying a day of sport and solidarity with the family.
