Shilov was called up from the Abbotsford club to the NHL team over the weekend, but did not play.
“General manager Patrick Olwin announced today that defenseman Mark Friedman and goaltender Shilow have been sent to Abbotsford,” according to the Vancouver club.
Forwards Linus Karlsson and Di Giuseppe have gone in the opposite direction.
The Latvian NHL goalkeeper has won one victory in seven matches this season, allowing an average of 4.11 pucks per match and saving 84.7% of shots. In two AHL matches, Shilov has allowed an average of 1.5 pucks in his goal per match and saved 92.9% of shots.
With 37 points in 30 matches, the “Canucks” represented by striker Teodora Blüger and Shilov are in seventh place in the Western Conference.
