Dear supporters,
quick info on why nothing came today (and yesterday) and a few quick JTNBA updates as well as the plan for the rest of the week…
As briefly mentioned at the end of the last news pod, my wife’s birthday was on Saturday. After the appropriate celebrations, we went on a short trip to Brandenburg overnight on Sunday to Monday.
We were already slightly under the weather, but unfortunately we both got really sick. Nothing serious, a classic cold, I guess… so it’s better to stay at home in bed today. If everything goes normally, my head and airways should be clear again tomorrow so that I can take in something.
Unless something unforeseen happens, our content for this week will still be able to be implemented as planned.
The JTNBA Discord is currently voting on what we will record this week and, above all, who can hear what.
By the way: To avoid further confusion, everyone now has the “animal” to which they belong after their subscription name.
Tier 1 = ROOKIE Package, NEW (can listen to one Supporter episode per week)
Tier 2 = STARTER package, NEW (can listen to two Supporter episodes per week)
Tier 3 = ALL-STAR, SUPERSTAR and HALL OF FAME packages NEW as well as ALL OLD supporters who already had a subscription before November 9th, 2024 (can still listen to ALL supporter episodes)
For 99% of you nothing has changed!
But: Tier 3 can and should also vote via Discord, as this is how we decide what we record and with whom. You’re not in Discord yet, but would like to join? Then please write me a quick message here at Steady.
As of now, the following is expected to appear on JTNBA this week:
Wednesday for supporters: “NBA-Rank this!” – New format from Torben with guest Pascal Gietler
Thursday public: “Western Conference Power Ranking Update” by Jonathan with Jerry
Friday and Saturday: “JTNBA Awards” Parts 2 and 3 with COY, ROY, DPOY, DPPOY, OPOY, LVP & MVP
Still with outsider chances: “(Hot) Take Cannon” by Jonathan (solo)
What ends up in which animal is currently still open and can still be voted on by tomorrow. Last week it worked great, thank you for that!
I would also like to thank all the honorable men who have voluntarily switched from their old subscription to the current ALL-STAR package in order to support our work even more than before. You know who you are, I’ll get in touch with you separately when I get the chance!
By the way, if my voice is no longer nasal tomorrow and the cough allows it, I’ll record an “NBA Cup Update” – although not here at JTNBA, but over with my colleague Lorenzo Ligresti for his “Double Stepback” pod. If you’re interested, you’re welcome to listen!
