Six women, aged 22 to 44 years oldwere arrested by the carabinieri, accused of having participated in a violent attack against a 34-year-old man. The attack, which occurred for reasons linked to sentimental questions, saw the victim repeatedly hit with baseball bats, while an accomplice of 30 ans fired a shot, wounding him in the leg.
The attack
According to investigations, the attack was orchestrated as a real “punitive expedition”. The victim, ex-husband of the thirty-year-old’s current partner, was attacked in the street by the seven attackers, who acted in a coordinated and violent manner. The six women used baseball bats to beat the man, while the gunman fired several shots, hitting the victim in one leg.

The arrests
The six women were arrested by order of the investigating judge of the Naples North court and are accused of aggravated battery in competition. Five of them were placed under house arrest, while one woman was caught in the act of possessing 100 grams of cocaine when notifying the precautionary measure. Currently, she is detained in the prison of Secondigliano.
The investigation, coordinated by the Naples North Prosecutor’s Office and carried out by the Carabinieri of the Tenenza de Sant’Antimo, shed light on the dynamics of the attack.
