The weekend before the oldest night raid, the Villars running club organized a 12 or 17 km race. Founded in 1970 by a group of friends, Saint-Étienne Handball quickly reached the national level. After a stint in Andrézieux-Bouthéon, the club moved to the Pierre Maisonnial gymnasium in the 2000s. Rich in events and anecdotes, it now has more than 200 members, all motivated to return to Nationale 1.

The Firminy Olympic Dojo celebrated its 10th regional tournament with an exceptional edition marked by the presence of Shirine Boukli, Olympic judo champion. The event was held at Firmament on November 23 and 24, 2024, bringing together numerous judokas, notably young people from various clubs, who were able to benefit from the champion’s advice during a fun and enriching course. Shirine Boukli, godmother of the event, inspired the participants with her journey and her commitment, reinforcing the family spirit and passion that characterize this emblematic Firminy club.
