A sporting discipline that is also a philosophy of life to be disseminated. The a.sd Ju Jitsu Education Group is a Martial Arts association (Ju Jitsu – Kick Jitsu) which coordinates a network of amateur sports associations present on the national and international territory, in particular: Veneto, Lombardy, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany , Lazio, Campania, Sardinia, Piedmont and Holland. Associations committed to the dissemination of martial arts both as a sport and as a tool for social education (hence the name ju jitsu education), as well as for inclusion.
For years, the group has been organizing women’s defense courses for doctors and public assistance, defense courses for people with reduced mobility, dissemination courses for families, teachers and instructors on children’s self-esteem, reaction to frustration, against bullying children and families, on the limits of the loading efforts of the musculoskeletal system, making use of collaborators such as: psychologist, pedagogist, paediatrician, psychiatric rehabilitator, lawyers and other specialists. Various collaborations with the Municipality of Lucca, Capannori, Province of Lucca.
On Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December, a two-day event dedicated to Martial Arts will be held at the Palasport in Borgo a Mozzano and with the patronage and collaboration of the Municipality itself: on Saturday 7th ju jitsu stage with the VII° Masters Dan Luca Angeli (Tuscany), VI Dan Luca Romoli (Tuscany) VIII Dan Livio Proia (Umbria), VII Dan Francesco Pariselli (Lazio) and IV Dan Martina Lucchesi (Holland). At the same time, a judo workshop will be held with exceptional guest Master VI Dan and world Olympic champion Darcel Yanzi. In the morning from 10.30am to 1pm, the stage will be reserved for brown and black belts, while in the afternoon from 3pm to 6pm it is also open to colored belts (from white to purple).
During the afternoon the Group will offer a recreational motor meeting on women’s defense and defense for people with reduced mobility open to all citizens. On the evening of Saturday 7th the protagonist will be the championship final. Ju jitsu, kata – demo – ground fighting – kick jitsu – submission competitions will be held on Sunday 8th from 9am. The whole event is also organized to raise funds for the Meyer Children’s Hospital Foundation.
