On Tuesday, the 28th annual festival of amateur sports Students of La Plata at the Jorge Luis Hirschi Stadium Sports Center. In it, the León and Leoncito Awards 2024 which had 123 medals awarded.
Who got the prize? Golden Lion was the swimmer Máximo Aguilar Macchiónof outstanding performances throughout the year in national and international competitions. The young man was in attendance with the judoka Damian Kriscauztky and the handball players Tomás Cardozo and Simona Manzure.

It is worth noting that Facundo Letanúmen’s handball and Zaira Yumain judo, shared first place among the Little Lions. For its part, the other nominee for the youngest award was John Matthew Sociomember of the club’s swimming team.
The event was attended by the Secretary of Sports, Maria Laura Serantesand the director of Amateur Sports, Fernando Yuma. In addition, the 2nd vice president, Pascual Caiella and the general secretary, Bruno Salomone, along with other leaders, also accompanied.
