On Sunday 1 December 2024, the Pala Brumar in Asti was the scene of the Baladelli Memorial, a day of sport and passion with the judo competition dedicated to the pre-competitive categories. The arena, packed with young judokas from all over Piedmont and accompanied by their parents, saw the enthusiastic participation of numerous clubs, including the Shobukai Judo School of Villanova d’Asti, represented by six athletes.
The young judokas of Shobukai demonstrated their talent and determination, winning six medals.
Marco Lo Presti and Stefano Tomassetti distinguished themselves in the boys category, both climbing to the third step of the podium.
In the children’s category Gabriele Lo Piccolo shone, finishing first thanks to three victories for Ippon, showing technique and confidence in every match. Excellent third place, with determination and commitment also for Alice Negro and Vittoria Farronato.
In the children’s category, Samuele Negro took third place, demonstrating great improvements, determination and courage in a race fought right to the end.
