“The Prince of Tennis” (Tenipuri) was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” from 1999 to 2008, and the second series “New Prince of Tennis” began in 2009, a tennis manga currently being serialized in “Jump Square.” original work. A story depicting the main character Ryoma Echizen, a junior high school student, growing up with his friends.

It was made into a TV anime on TV Tokyo in October 2001, and has since become a popular work that has been made into events and movies. The first TV anime in 10 years since “New Prince of Tennis” which aired until March 2012, “New Prince of Tennis U-17 WORLD CUP” will be broadcast in 2022 and will be an OVA series released in 2014.
