Specifically, the colors of the new Nike SB Dunk Lows reference the memorable 1995-2001 jerseys, which were worn in the 1996 NBA Finals by the Sonics and the Chicago Bulls with Michael Jordan.
With an interesting mix of spruce, white, university gold and fire red, they keep that retro atmosphere.
