The Davis Cup finals will be held in Italy from 2025 to 2027, the International Tennis Federation announced Monday, and the event will be presented in Bologna next year.
Led by Jannik Sinner, the Italians have won the last two editions of the Davis Cup in Malaga, Spain, the site of this men’s team tennis competition for the past three years.
Italy also won the Billie Jean King Cup in Malaga last month, worn by Jasmine Paolini.
The Davis Cup is the latest major tennis competition to be established in Italy, where the ATP Finals also took place. The Rome Masters is also a key clay court tennis tournament ahead of the French Open.
Sinner won two Grand Slam titles and rose to No. 1 in the ATP world rankings in 2024, while Paolini was runner-up at two other majors and finished the year ranked fourth in the women’s world rankings.
