“I prioritize my studies,” she explains. “I complete my homework and studying every day after training. Thankfully, I’ve been able to manage both effectively.”
When international travel is required, she utilizes technology to stay on top of her schoolwork, receiving and submitting assignments via mobile phone.
Etchemendy Oteguy acknowledges the crucial role her family plays in her success. “My family provides unwavering support,” she says. “They attend all my tournaments, cheering me on from the sidelines. Their presence is invaluable.”
Looking ahead, Etchemendy Oteguy has set her sights on qualifying for the South American Under 16 Championships in 2025.”My goal is to secure a spot in the tournament,” she states. “The ranking system determines qualification, and as the number one player in my age group, I have a good chance.”

“Competing against older players has been challenging,” she admits. “But I’m seeing progress. The matches are becoming more competitive, and I’m learning from each experience.”
