Last Saturday 14th December was an important day for the Naka Ryu 1965 martial arts school in Casale.
At the Leinì arena, on the occasion of the last competition of the year, master Giacomo Bigatto was awarded by Fijlkam (Italian Judo Wrestling Karate Martial Arts Federation) with a diploma delivered by the regional president of the karate sector Patrizia Giordanengo with these words: ” Fijlkam is pleased to present her with the diploma of meritorious referee in recognition of her long career and militancy in our federation and for the work always carried out with passion and dedication to this sport, to this martial art, karate.”
Master Giacomo Bigatto, registered with Fijlkam since 1972, first as an athlete, after a short time joined the referee course and became the first official federal referee of Piedmont, from that moment on his career as a match judge was a succession of commitments in various competitions at every level, between old and new generations, everyone remembers the grit and determination, but above all the voice with which he enforced the competition rules.
Master Giacomo Bigatto will turn eighty-two in just over three months, he still attends the Naka Ryu gym in Casale and never misses a day, he collaborates with master Pier Paolo Cornaglia during the Children’s course and together with him he reviews the kata daily, helps in refereeing with competitors, it contributes to the growth of new competition judges and is the historical memory of the Casalese karate and aikido school.
The technicians Pier Paolo Cornaglia, Fabrizio Carpignano, Mauro Rabbachin, Roberta Botto, and all the athletes congratulate Maestro Giacomo Bigatto for his long career.
