No mercy
The investigating judge then gives an opinion on the facts starting from the ages of the protagonists: two 23-year-olds, an 18-year-old and six minors (all reported to the Venice Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office) who are between 15 and 17 years old.
There is, according to the judge, an escalation of aggression indicative, on the one hand, of a refinement of the means (it all started with violent robberies and then transformed into real paramilitary actions) and on the other the group’s desire to go further to the few euros collected during the first raids: this is how one of the victims was kidnapped for an hour, held hostage with her head bowed by some torturers who insulted her and beat her with baseball bats and the butts of guns, while others gang members withdraw money from his bank account.
A behavior that reflects “a lucid, precise and undoubted” criminal purpose which is carried out by beating, attacking, injuring and brutalizing the victims and their cars, often damaged with homophobic graffiti. «These behaviors are unacceptable and do not in any way represent the values of inclusion, respect and solidarity that our territory strongly promotes and defends» commented the mayor of Fossò, Alberto Baratto yesterday.
