Ducarello, a ⁤native of Erice born in 1977, embarked on his‍ coaching journey⁢ at the remarkably‌ young age ​of 20. He ‌honed his skills ⁤in ‍the youth sector and as an ​assistant coach at Don Bosco Trapani, demonstrating his early ⁣passion for the sport.

His ⁤career trajectory ‍soared as⁤ he spent⁢ five ‍years with ⁤Orlandina, another prominent Sicilian team.From 2003 to 2008, Ducarello served as the first assistant coach, culminating in‌ a triumphant promotion ​to Serie ​A during the 2004/05 season. This ‍achievement solidified his reputation as a skilled tactician and motivator.

Ducarello’s expertise continued to be‍ recognized as he joined⁤ forces with coach ⁤Sacchetti ⁤in Sassari for the 2009/10⁣ season, again in the crucial role of first⁣ assistant. This marked a ‌critically important step up in his career, placing ‌him ‌at⁣ the ​forefront of Italy’s top ‌basketball league.

The 2013/2014 season⁤ saw Ducarello​ return to⁤ his Sicilian roots, this time ​leading the​ Barcellona ‍Pozzo di Gotto team in the A2 Gold series. He transitioned seamlessly into the head coach⁤ position in December ⁤2013, showcasing his leadership capabilities.
