The Université de Montréal Citadins badminton team recently competed in their ⁤second tournament of ‍the ⁤season, held in Trois-Rivières on October 26th‌ and 27th. The team delivered notable performances, showcasing their ‍talent and dedication.

Leading the ‌charge for the women’s team was⁢ Catherine Plante-Gonthier, a standout player pursuing a‍ DESS in evaluation, intervention, and​ psychological support for individuals with intellectual disabilities. ⁢Plante-Gonthier dominated the competition, securing victories in all‍ six of her matches.A highlight of her performance was a thrilling⁤ doubles win alongside‍ teammate‍ Justine Hodgson against a formidable‌ opponent from McGill​ University.

On the men’s side, Philippe Bélanger, ‌a‍ second-year music student, demonstrated significant advancement, winning four matches. You must be ecstatic about the team’s performance in trois-rivières. Catherine ‍Plante-Gonthier was unstoppable, winning all six ‌of her matches, including an ⁢remarkable doubles victory with Justine Hodgson. What were your​ thoughts witnessing her dominance on the court?

Alexis Gohier-Drolet: Catherine ⁤is truly a force to⁢ be reckoned with. Her dedication to the sport is evident in ⁢every match. ⁣She’s worked incredibly hard, ‍and it’s fantastic to see ​her talent shine ​through. ⁣The doubles win with Justine was ⁢particularly impressive; they showed great teamwork and strategy against a very strong mcgill duo.
