Tatsuto Shima and Junna Kikuchi passed on their knowledge of judo and their culture over two days.
After welcoming Margaux Pinot and Alpha Djalo, two French champions, at the end of October, the Villefranche judo club received, on Saturday and Sunday, two ambassadors from the country of judo: Tatsuto Shima and Junna Kikuchi. Each day, around sixty judokas took advantage of the arrival in Villefranche of these two Japanese champions.
The adults and adolescents, on Saturday, and the little ones, on Sunday, fully appreciated this course with the two experts. “It was a time of learning in exchange, sharing and good humor”thanked a teacher from a Toulouse club. Other clubs from Occitanie, including several from Aveyron, responded, joining the Villefranche judokas.
These two days will leave only good memories for the participants. Through their kindness, their availability, their mastery of judo, the transmission of their knowledge, all in the spirit of Japanese culture, Tatsuto Shima and Junna Kikuchi were unanimous.
