Ronald: You see, I played untill I was 38.Virgil takes great care of himself. He’s got fantastic genetics and a professional attitude. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he prolongs his career like that.

Ronald: It’s always a risk, of course. But look at Messi, he’s still performing at the highest level despite his age. If Virgil maintains his discipline and hunger, he can definately continue to be a force for Liverpool.
Moderator: There’s a lot of talk about Virgil becoming the first Dutch captain to lift the Premier League trophy.It’s a significant historical feat. What would it mean for Van Dijk and Dutch footballing legacy?

Ronald: Let me tell you, those qualities are not just important; they are absolutely essential.
Football is demanding, both physically and mentally. If you don’t have the discipline to train rigorously,eat right,and recover properly,the years start catching up quickly.
And the hunger, the unwavering desire to win, that’s what drives you to keep pushing even when the going gets tough. Virgil has both of those qualities in abundance.
