ROLAMPONT. For the last training of the year, the judokas of Judo-taïso RC52 were surprised to receive a visit from Santa Claus on Monday, December 16. When their first name was called by their teacher Thierry Masson, each child received different treats as well as a key ring. Between the mini-pouss’ and samurai training session, Thierry Masson had the opportunity to discuss the results of the judokas in these categories who participated in the Bourbonne-les-Bains event on Saturday December 14. Juan, Marceau and Medhi for the mini pouss’ category and Selena and Rayan for the samurai category thus had the encouragement of their teacher for their performances. These good performances will have to be confirmed during the next round which will take place in March. The next day, Sunday December 15, the youngest members and color belts of Judo-taïso RC52 also defended the club’s colors during the competition which also took place in Bourbonne-les-Bains. Elina and Nathan finish in a nice 3e place and Timéo finished second. Note the great performance of Keith who won his first tournament by getting on the first step of the podium. As for Chaneze, the judokate unfortunately did not make it out of her group. The youngest students will have the opportunity to confirm these results in January during the bi-departmentals. During this competition, Jonathan Ravineau also wanted to try his hand at the competition and for his first participation, finished on the podium with a superb second place. Also note the presence of Murielle Deram who officiated as commissioner for obtaining her UV4. Congratulations to the judokas but also to the Judo-taïso RC52 supervisors who work throughout the year to ensure the smooth running of the club. Everyone met after the holidays for the first training of the year, Monday January 6.
