The long week of Thanksgiving football, with 32 teams on the field from Thursday to Monday, continues to provide satisfaction for NFL fans. And a clear sign of this is the share records that American television sets record for each appointment, the last in chronological order being Thanksgiving Thursday.
A Thursday that provided many emotions, starting with the incomprehensible choice not to call a timeout by the Bears coaching staff at the end of the match against the Lions. Lions who instead took advantage of it to extend their positive streak. The Cowboys and Packers also win, while the Chiefs prevail against the Raiders on Friday at the end of the usual tight game.
On Sunday the Steelers confirmed themselves as a great team, beating the Bengals in a match in which the attacks dominated. In one of the most interesting clashes of the week, the one between the Eagles and Ravens, Philadelphia came out on top, confirming its great form. To date, they are the candidate team to compete with the Lions in the NFC, while the Ravens always leave some doubts.
Snow victory for the Bills, who liquidate the Niners, hit again by a CMC injury (and this time it is the posterior cruciate ligament). In the postponement of Monday Night it is the Broncos who are smiling. Denver is coming off a crazy season: their 8-5 record puts them in the fight for the NFL Playoffs, and they have found a ready-made QB in Bo Nix.
Small reminder on how to read report cards. The first row is the game of the week with the team’s record in parentheses and the final score at the bottom. The team that won is always in front. Next you will find the names of the franchises with my vote. First the one for the game, then (in parentheses) the overall one for their NFL season. I remember that they are a mix of performance, expectations, potential, strength of the opponent, momentum.
