Young archers shone at the Sévérac federal tournament

As part of the federal archery tournament reserved for the U11 and beginner U13 categories, the organizers of Sévérac d’Aveyron archers brought a very warm atmosphere to the gymnasium on Sunday December 8. The young people who came in large numbers from the clubs of Baraqueville, Bozouls, Chanac, Millau, Rodez, Salmiech, Saint-Affrique joined the 11 Sévéragais.

The Barrage Arrows Challenge

Under the direction of referee Alexandre Galy, 22 U11s and 13 U13s began their ranking shots in 3 tables of 3 ends of 3 arrows. After a break for the free snack, the participants resumed their shooting in groups of 4 archers, the best ranked and so on in the formation of the groups. Many of them resorted to duels punished by barrage arrows.

Namely the one who has the most centered arrow has won his place first or even third in the group in a shot at 10 m on an 80 cm target face. In U11, it was archer Cavalier Marceau from Bozouls and in U13 Luka Urbanski from Salmiech who ranked first. The Sévéragais U11 ranked 10th Aron Castello, then César Guilhem, Arthur Milhau, Nolan Vigne-Pertequin, Lia Petitperrin, Anaël Pouget, Soline Culsan, and Clara Guilhou.

In U13, Mathis Granier ranks 4th, followed by Maxence Vigne-Pertequin and Aimy Granier. When the results were announced by Lionel Paupy, all the young people received a medal from the teenagers of the Château club as well as a pocket filled with a booklet and a tourist map of Aveyron, a pen and a cap.

Then, President David Culsan thanked the partners for the plural assistance to this sports organization. Finally, special medals were awarded to the youngest participant in U11, Dylan Cervera from Saint-Affrique and in U13 Raphaël Amadou from Baraqueville.

While Clara Guilhou from Sévérac was the youngest in U11 and U13, it was Soline Chedanne from the Chanac club. Furthermore, president Lilian Martinez of the Chanac club received the special Crédit Agricole trophy for having the most participants in U13 and David Culsan for the most young people in U11.
