It was obvious that lately something not very good has been “cooking” in the football club from Trstenica, and this morning the club’s spokesperson gave us confirmation of this by calling us. Željko Bubeničke’ Buco’.
‘After yesterday’s match against Slaven first team coach Zoran Slišković he submitted irrevocable resignation from the position of coach of the first team. In fact, he announced this to the President of the club last Sunday after the defeat against Hajduk from Veluk. According to him, the reason for his resignation is the extremely bad atmosphere in the dressing room of the first team, shaken interpersonal relations that have been going on for a long time. It culminated after the aforementioned match against Hajduk from Veluka in Trstenica, in which Orebić was defeated 1:5. In the meantime, there was actually no training, although Slišković regularly came from Trpanj, but apart from a few juniors, most of the older players were not there. For yesterday’s match in Gruda against Slaven, we are like that barely gathered eleven players. Eight local players from Orebić did not travel, obviously a good number of them sabotage both the coach and the administration. According to the coach he doesn’t want it anymore and he won’t put up with it and because of this he submitted his irrevocable resignation‘, he told us Drummer adding that he is the President Mario Vekic announced for January meeting of the club nand which will discuss the problems that have arisen, determine which players will be counted on, who will be thanked, and who will lead the team in the upcoming period.
Zoran Slišković is a well-known name not only in Croatian but also in international circles. Trpanjac with with a great career as a football player first in Sarajevo’to the railwayman’then Zagreb Dynamo (HAŠK Civic), Slaves Belupu and Greek AEK-on several occasions he sat on the bench of the club from Trstenica. In this last term, he came to season 2019/20 and continuously for four and a half seasons he was the coach of the first team of the best football club in Pelješac.
